Pricing
Nothing you do is ever counted.
The AI runs on your own machine, so there is no inference bill to pass on — and
nothing to meter. Whatever plan you are on, every action on it is unlimited.
WritePair sells features, never allowance.

Why it costs so little
Every rival meters you because every request costs them money: their model runs
on their servers, and inference has a bill. Ours runs on your machine. There is
no bill, so there is nothing to meter — and a two-year plan works out to under
$3 a month, less than half the monthly price. That is the same fact behind both
halves of this page: your words never leave your device, and nobody is
counting them.
No password, and no account to create. Payment is handled by Paddle,
our merchant of record — your name, email and card details go to Paddle, never to us.
Pro is tied to the email you paid with: sign in with that address (a one-time link, no
password) and Pro unlocks on every computer you use. That email tells us nothing except
which purchase is yours.
Compare: Grammarly caps its free AI at 100 prompts a month and its paid
plan at 2,000. QuillBot caps free paraphrasing at 125 words. Wordtune gives you
10 rewrites a day. WritePair's free plan has no cap at all.
